"Next to direct sales, tradeshow exhibitions rate second in generating new and repeat sales for most companies, according to the Center for Exhibition Research (CEIR.) In fact, they report that tradeshow sales beat comparative spending on advertising, direct mail, and other marketing efforts." -- Joe Combs, Myla Wagner, MarketingProfs.com

The tradeshow market is a lucrative one for visual communicators, whether we attend as participants, or prepare materials for our Clients. Linnea Design informed us at last month's meeting that they have attended at least one tradeshow a year for the last 20 years -- one significant way they built their business.

At the upcoming luncheon meeting, Geoffrey Gilmore, CSEP, president of International Special Events Society (ISES - www.isesseattle.com) and of Geoffrey Gilmore Signature Events (www.sigevents.com), will discuss how to prepare trade show booths for effective revenue generating opportunities.

In an interactive demonstration, Gilmore will be working with artist Chris Rusnak, a graphic designer at Costco, to show us solutions for creating displays that are highly effective in small spaces. Several colleagues from ISES will also be available to answer audience questions about effective trade show planning.

Attend this March SPGA/Seattle Luncheon to learn how to prepare yourself and your Clients more effectively for tradeshow success.
